BLC House

Located in Alphaville Salvador 1, in Condomínio Itapuã. The pre-existing construction was basically white with some granite effects, which gave it a stern and closed appearance. The resident, in addition to disliking the predominant white color, wanted the building to have a more striking presence, in addition to greater space and visual and thermal comforts.

This retrofit, defined mainly by the use of brick, wood and green walls, achieved the proposal of the customer with sustainability and efficiency. In the external area, the parking space gave way to a lake with a waterfall and much greenery with plants from the Atlantic forest, bringing with it the sensation of freshness and a milder microclimate. The facade gained a green wall and the entrance door, previously positioned facing the street, was inserted laterally and can no longer be seen directly. A window was added to the swing, allowing greater air movement to one of the suites, and was covered by wooden Camarú slates coated with UV matte varnish. Between the swing and the green wall, a floor-to-ceiling window, 5.5 meters high, was inserted, reinforcing the general aspect of integration, smoothness, and freshness.
